In case you've been on Mars, this week saw the launch the Nurburgring GP track pack for Forza Motorsport 3 (400c). To celebrate this awesome track Turn 10 has got a time trial currently happening:
Everyone who enters the Time Trial (i.e., puts a name on the Nurb GP Time Trial leaderboard) will receive not one but two cars: A special Jube edition 2009 BMW M5 Nurburgring fantasy safety car, and a 2008 Mercedes Benz C-Class Touring Car

So you get two free cars simply for registering a time. Not bad. You guys should all check it out.
In other Nurburgring related news I've put together a quick trailer/hot lap of the track for those that need more convincing before they purchase. Believe me, this track is full of awesomeness -and all for the price of a sandwich!

Hey Guys,
Its competition time, again. This one, however, is for the down-hill specialists on Mount Akina Fujimi Kaido. The course is Fujimi Kaido Stage A Reverse. It is a League, 2 cars on track, Head to Head.

Mano a Mano (extra kudos for anyone who can tell me what racing game that's from?).
The rules:
1 - B500 Class. Must be an Evo.
2 - Run the course twice. The winner has to win both events, and receives 3 points. The loser, nil point. If you win one, lose one, then that's a draw. You share 1 point each. You can change cars between heats, as long as you don't leave the lobby.
3 - There's certain etiquette to Touge style racing (google it). Contact is forbidden, so avoid at all costs. Any disputes, send the replay to me or Ricky and we'll adjudicate. See Contact us
4 - If you enter, please add all other entrants to your friends list and arrange to play everyone. Do communicate with each-other to choose what time suits both of you.
5 - Enter the competition by posting in the comments. If you are a new member, you must post an introduction in the forums first to be a valid entry. When the event begins, you must also send in your results via posting in the comments. I'll create a separate page with the League table.
5 - Deadline for entries is Monday 8PM (GMT). I'll announce the start of the event shortly thereafter and begin updating the league table. Until then practice, practice and practice!
